So, your saying that becasue apple dosent have a lot of money they should
make crapy products? Hmm, maybe I missed somthing? Casue that makes no sence
at all, and dont try and tell me they dont have enough cash to
engineer(Read: "Basically COPY") a scroll mouse design.

See if you make good products, people will buy them (Read: People other than
thoes forced when they get a new computer) and that gets you more money.

Hmm...the point is, that most people don't think the Apple Pro mouse is all that crappy, or that scroll-wheel mice are all that important.

*I* for one, couldn't give a crap about scroll wheels. You obviously do.

I think that cramming more featuritis into a mouse merely degrades it's usability as a mouse (though I'm one to speak, since I prefer Kensington's big ol' Turbo Mouse trackballs)

Besides, none of this is of any bearing on what Apple does. Despite what you may believe, Apple's engineers and management aren't off in their own little universe, disregarding all that happens in the computing world.

They have valid reasons for retaining the one-button mouse.

(trust me...ANYone who's ever worked end-user support knows full well that 99% of the folks out there don't know what that other button is for:

Helpdesk: "Now right-click on this icon..."

User: "I do and it starts up...now I gotta wait 5 minutes for it to start and it's just gonna crash again!"

Helpdesk. "No, click using the righ-hand mouse button."

User: "Nope just started again!"

Helpdesk: <exasperated>" Your *other* right!"

User: "Oh! THAT one. What's it for? I never use it..."

Helpdesk: Sound of head hitting desk <bonk><bonk><bonk>)
