Funny, they don't say what's happening with Conflict Catcher - I guess there's no market left at all for it? Or did they already sell it, and I missed my notice?
I noticed that. They also didn't mention Grammarian. Conflict Catcher is for OS 9, so I would guess that it wasn't as important in their minds. It's also possible that their list is just incomplete.
It says on their site that the list is incomplete and to check back with them regularly.
This took a lot of people by surprise, and I'll bet the software owners were about as suprised as we were.
Note: C&G isn't *selling* this software...they were *publishers* of software; what C&G did (typically) was to buy the publication and distribution rights to the software from the various authors.
They then sold it under the C&G aegis, and paid some percentage back in royalties to the original author.
What's going on now is that the P&D rights are reverting to the individual programmers or current owners of the software, now that C&G is dissolving as a business.
How it's handled after that is up to the individual author/owner.
