Hi all,I have gotten an explanation about putting a battey in the fridge before rechargeing,it seems many newer chargers have electronic senseing,so as an example, battery's in contractors tools left out in a hot truck, the charger misreads the high temperature as a short, and so will misread the battery as bad, chilling the battery first only allows an accurate reading of the battey by the recharger, but does not actually do anything to fix a bad battery,it simply aids in rechargeing a good one. but its a useful trick to have. best wishes
