Last week I tried to find some honest Powerbook deals on Ebay.
Among tens of fake 1GHz 15" and 17" there were a couple of 667MHz 15"
from people that accepted direct collect or Escrow. I made a few bids.
The prices ended up close to the price I can get a new 1GHz for so I
gave up. What is bothering me is that I now am receiving so many
Powerbook scam emails I can't count them.

p.s. I'm quite pissed of with Ebay by now, they should do something
besides taking our money

ebay is a venue. as a buyer, you aren't doing ANY business with eBay, they aren't taking your money- they're just helping to match you up with a seller.

it sucks that people will try to run scams on others... but let's be honest, what exactly do you think eBay can do? it's not like eBay runs the internet and can stop them.
