The Lombard uses a shorter lower memory chip. You can't use stock chips.

You don't have to rip everything to get to the lower RAM slot. Just remove the processor daughterboard, assuming the Lombard has the same processor board (actually, a similar one, not the exact same one) than the Pismo.
