Apple released in software updates Mac OS X 10.2.8. I downloaded it last night. Boy does it make a difference.

Yes, made a real difference on my machine : total @#$%ed it!

Machine : Lombard 333, 320Mb Ram, external monitor, USB keyboard & mouse

Install, restart, OK so far. Finder back up - monitor arrangement is around the wrong way. Revert it. Soon there's all sorts of messages in the console, the external CRT monitor suddenly receives no signal and the LCD (built-in) goes colour mental with bands and stripes everywhere!

Restart, similar problems. I notice there a crash log for OBEX. I have disabled all my login items and the problem seems to have vanished.

I'll have to investigate further tomorrow - when I'm feeling brave again!

PS - It killed all my Stickies too!

Cheers, Antony.
