Hello, I recently purchased a GigE 667 Tibook with a
backlighting problem and broken hinges. The
backlighting is under control, now its time to work on
the hinges. They have the classic syndrom of snapping
off, so I assume part of them are stuck inside the
powerbook display. How do I go about removing these
oieces so the new ones can fit in, has anybody done
this?

Also, what cautions can I take so the hinges do not
snap again once I install new ones.

Thanks,
Geoff
