Thanks for the reply. I have installed a known good 128 SODIMM and nothing. I also removed the chip and still the three chimes. I think this may mean a new logic board is needed. What do you think?

Could mean your On board ram took a dump,
Try installing a known good 64-128 SODIMM, (be sure to remove the battery and un-plug it before playing with it) Also let it sit for about 30 minuntes with no battery and not plugged it before installing the ram.
