I don't see "offensive" anywhere in his original post. Just "e-mails," the phrase "back and forth," which would indicate the exchange was bilateral and therefore not unsolicited, and the suggestion that sending said emails privately is "improper." I'm guessing you're right, of course. What I was making fun of was the fact that Laurent didn't say he was talking about offensive emails in the original post; he just put the smackdown on all private email.
