I just ran XBench 1.1.3 on my Pismo upgraded with the Powerlogix 500MHz G4. I love the G4 upgrade and reported back when I first got it that it significantly upgraded the speed of my machine which was originally 400MHz. FYI: I had also originally upgraded my Pismo with a 30GB 4200rpm drive while still running OS 9.2.2 and that made a HUGE difference in the overall speed of the machine.
System specs: OS X 10.3, 768MB RAM, 40GB 4500rpm IBM drive.
CPU: 55.81 Thread: 42.49 Memory: 68.85 Quartz Graphics: 62.33 OpenGL Graphics: 70.90 User Interface: 92.77 Disk: 50.04

I wonder (anyone out there know?) if the upgrade would help as much with
Jaguar/Panther, since aren't the graphics chips on another board than the
'daughterboard' which has the CPU? If the graphics chipset is not
upgraded, I expect that will be some kind of slowdown factor (since the
graphics chipset affects the Quartz rendering (or lack of).
If anyone has done a G4 upgrade (or talked with a manufacturer of same),
you might speak about if it does/doesn't improve Quartz rendering under
Jaguar/Panther. Anyone know for sure?
