Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my question about installing Panther. It is up and running well, as far as I can see so far.
However, I have found that while DiskWarrior and Apple's Disk Utility are happy with the end result (with some post-installation repairs), Norton Utilities (including the December 22nd 8.01 update) does not seem to agree and seems to identify spurious errors.
Two questions from this. What has been others' experience with Norton Utilities and Panther? Second, what would you recommend as an alternative to Norton's Speed Disk for defragmenting files with Panther?
