I just bought a battery (6600mAh) for one of our Pismo's from Otherworld. They have 5400mAh and 6600mAh replacement batteries for the Pismo/Lombard which they list as 12.5 and 37.5% higher in capacity than the original Apple battery (doing the math calculates the standard OEM Apple battery at 4800mAh). These sell for $146 and $160 respectively.
Otherworld does list a 4500mAh battery but that is for the Wallstreet and is listed as 25% higher in capacity than the original OEM Apple battery (doing the math gives the original as 4000mAh).
I checked NewerTech.com and they list the same batteries with the same stats... not sure where on their site Laurent got his 3750mAh figure from.
We haven't had the 6600mAh long enough to see if it is worth the price but I'll get back to the list once we've had a chance to try it. As far as I'm concerned, if it really does pack 37.5% more power into the same size package, it is well worth the additional cost (although no one listed the price of the batteries from laptops-batteries.com and I can't even find a Pismo compatible battery there (Apple's orginal part# for Lombard and Pimo batteries are M7385G/A and M7318 respectively) so if they are really cheap I guess they could possibly be a better value).

I didn't try the NewerTech since the ones from laptops-battery.com were
cheaper, so I can't tell. laptops.battery.com says their are 4000mAh while

Forgot to mention that, according to NewerTech, Apple's original batteries
were 3750mAh...
