UCE from list

I am sure I'm not the only one who's experienced the rising tide of 
unsolicited commercial email ("spam") from this list.  The reason I'm 
sure of that is because of the 8 email accounts I use, this is one of 
my least frequently used accounts, essentially only for these two LEM 
lists.  Yet it accounts for 137 of the 168 UCEs I've received in the 
last 24 hours.

I doubt spammers are subscribed to the list.  I doubt listusers are 
selling email addresses.  I have LITTLE doubt that the web archive 
maintained at http://mail.maclaunch.com/lists/  is being scanned and 
addresses harvested.  Our email addresses are being revealed there to 
the whole world, with every post we make.

I respectfully suggest to the listmom that whenever a new mailing list 
mechanism is finally established for the LEM-related lists, that he 
find a way to either restrict access to the list archive to those 
subscribed, or that the archived posts be scrubbed of email addresses.  
Then I'll re-subscribe with a new email address and kill off this one.
