I'm becoming increasingly unhappy at the way my Lombard has taken to
Panther. It runs faster, yes, but only a little; my open windows
disappear at random, though when I click the App icon they reappear;
Print Explosion Deluxe regularly hangs the machine, and so forth. I
intend to keep working with it to see how many of these problems I can
repair, but am wondering if an Archive and Upgrade to Jaguar would work
if the problems become less tolerable.

Anybody tried this?
