The IMB/Hitachi 40GNX 40 GB can be had for $133 here: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100416 I have bought from them before when they were called googlegear.com and found them reliable. I have this drive in my Pismo 400 along with two 256 MB sticks of RAM, and Panther is very acceptable on the machine.
