Can't use SCSI disk mode on a driver equal to or greater than 4GB.

Only on certain models. This problem was discovered and fixed when Apple moved to > 4GB drives, which IIRC happened with the Wall Street or the original G3 Powerbook. There was a Technical note on it, I now, I read it, I just can't find it right now.
