Yea, mine only wakes when I hit the spacebar, but when it goes black like what I described, NOTHING will make it come back on...that I've discovered yet anyway.
I've got two 256MB sticks, think they were PC100, that's all I remember, I put them in myself a few weeks ago. Rad...
