Hi y'all!
I have a very new PowerBook 1GHz 15" Alu with Panther. I have updated it to X.3.3 and not installed any odd stuff, just the standard. 768MB RAM.
However, it does feel very slow with the GUI response, for instance swapping tabs in Safari or switching program, opening windows and such like.
I am more than not converting CDs to AAC, but I cannot see how the response should be that affected, or is it ???
How relevant would a clean re-install be ?
I have masses (too mucy) experience of OS 7 through 9.2.2 but not with OS X and it's behaviour over time.
