Hi Sam,
If saving data is a priority, get an adaptor that
allows a laptop HDD to run in a desktop.
Can you run the WS without a battery? Can you switch
A/C adaptors? Can you do a take-apart? I took apart my
WS yesterday, so I can add some tips if you do (try
"wallstreet take apart" on your favourite search
engine). Do you have a 'manual' for the WS? Contact me
offlist if you don't.
Best Wishes
George
