However, if gianfrancoo's drive was purchased as an OEM -- the actual meaning has no real significance here -- that usually indicates that there is no warranty included unless specifically stated. If gianfrancoo doesn't know whether his drive was an OEM, if he could provide the Hitachi model# (such as: IC25N040ATCS05) and where he bought it.
