Subject: Sourceforge WiFi Driver

I ran across the following information on another list. I know there
are a number of users on this list that currently use, or have had in
the past used, the Sourceforge wireless driver. I like to get some
verification that this information is true or not (the specific card
was not indicated):

Under OS X, the Orinoco card works (mostly) if you use the free
wirelessdriver from Sourceforge. (My paraphrasing follows: WEP
encryption and AppleTalk do not work with this driver.)

Thanks,

Bob

I have used it on a Lombard, Pismo, and TiBook with a Lucent WaveLAN Gold card (same card, earlier vendor). I haven't tried AppleTalk because my DLink wireless router doesn't support it.
