Oh dear lord, I promise I'm not going to make any comments about your preference for Explorer. Really, I'm not. Buddha help me, my head is exploding!
Thanks for the suggestion of Path Finder, I will try it.
However, I am a serious Mac fanatic, but I have never been too proud to realise when the opposition has something worthwhile, take right mouse button, contextual menues, visual indication on the icon that a file is an alias, well there are MASSES of examples where the Mac OS has improved by copying Windoze!!
The advantage Explorer has over all Mac browsers I have seen is that you can retain the tree structure in the left hand part while seeing another folder structure in the right hand side. This makes sorting files a real piece of p*ss compared to the current limited display in Mac OS X, especially the way the column width is restricted.
