I think that Apple don't care too much about their
customers.
I have a Lombard PowerBook and I can't play DVDs on OS
X because DVD Player app don't support "hardware
decoders".
Apple suggest to boot on OS 9 (or OS 8.6) for DVD
Playback.
As I believe that is NOT a solution, I made the
following: I installed Jaguar and Panther from copies.
I'm not going to spend another cent on Apple's
Incomplete Software (I believe X is).
I will not pay again for Apple Software until this
issue gets fixed.
