YES, because Apple says that OS X "supports" the PowerBook G3. They lie because they are interested on selling only. If they have the right to lie, I have the rigth to install Apple Software for free. Also, I have a similar problem with my Sony Spressa Plus Burner (USB Plus supported on OS 9 ONLY, thanks to Apple). The DVD Drive is an APPLE Drive and it came with the PowerBook. Wallstreet users have the same problem. Apple should support it and fix that issue. I will keep installing Apple Software from Copies and Apple will loose some money because of that.
