As far as I can see it -- but this is based on a general hunch coming from my webdesign background, rather than specific experience with Mac OS X -- the problem might be the rather thick barrier between WWW and your local computer, erected especially so the outside scripts won't be able to tinker with your data. In your case, the bookmarks or bookmarklets (pieces of JavaScript code in bookmarks) reside on the "WWW" side of fence, and you want them to access your local messages. However, this does not mean that it can't be solved in some ways.

This problem aside, I can think of two solutions. First would be to have a bookmark launching AppleScript that'd tell Mail to open a certain mail message. Second would launch a shell script that'd parse the mailbox file to crop only the message you want and display it. In both cases, a nice tool to create bookmarks (by drag and drop) would probably also be very welcome.

However, my (yet?) limited experience with inner workings of Mac OS X and AppleScript means that this is as far as I can help. Sorry.
