What am I doing wrong? When I burn a CD copy everything moves veerrrry slooowly. "Filling the Ram Cache" takes 5 minutes or so, and the countdown clock on the burning of each track moves at the rate of one number in twenty seconds instead of one second per second. Burning a disk is a half hour of listening to the disk reader clicking back and forth continuously as if it can only take a byte at a time through the whole process. I'm using Toast 5, on a Ti-400 powerbook, OS9, La Cie Lite-on LTR-523275S Firewire burner. (Geez - I just know somebody is going to say: "Jim you dope - how could you forget to select 'Fleeburator Override' in the 'Crepitation Preferences'....?")
