I had the Wallstreet that had the disallowed symbol while starting in 10.2 I borrowed a ibook and moved my HD over. It still had the disallowed symbol so I put a 9 start-up CD in, and after starting from that told the HD to start from 9.
Put it back in the Wallstreet and it is running again in 9. The CDRom is back but not reading all types of disks (can read the 9.2 update disk but not audio) It would not start the computer from the CDRom while 10 was on the HD. Batteries are still not charging even though I have a new dc card, and a new charge card. I put the battery in, it looks like it sees. It shows that the battery is very low and sometimes flashing with a full red. But after a few minutes the x comes over the battery symbol at the top of screen. And the control strip tells me that the bay is empty. I would like to get everything running again, any suggestions.
