I'm new to this List/BB and was wondering if there is a place I could get a list of the MAC models referred to by code names.

Or you can download a neat application called MacTracker. It has just about everything about Apple products (specs, date of intro and discontinuation, etc.), categorized under desktops, portables, printers, etc.
The most recent version is a few days old. Look for it at versiontracker.com
