By Photoshop, I meant I do a significant amount of photo restoration so I need as big a monitor as possible as it is tedious enough work at the best of times. Even the 15" is a bit small - I am looking forward to getting a 20-23" monitor sometime this year. In any case, I think it does boil down to personal preference regarding the size of the laptop/screen. I really like the 15" and dont regret the decision at all even though the trade off is that I have to carry an extra pound with me whenever I take it out. Still, worth it for me given that I do a lot of Photoshop work while I'm traveling as well as watching DVD's etc. Clearly the 12" is working well for you and that's great.
