i'm looking to get a new internal hd for my Pismo and am waffling between the 7200 and 5400 speeds. my main concern is heat. while i know the 7200 won't overheat, i'm wondering about the long term side effects of running hotter than the 4200 Pismo's were designed to handle. I need this comp to stay around for a few years yet. so the question is should i sacrifice some hd speed for the future health of my comp?

Best of Luck
Julie
