Hell everyone:
I have a G3 Wallstreet (the roadkill) which I have upgraded with a 20 gig HD, a Crescendo WS/G3 550 mghz board, 288 Ram, and have changed the screen from the bogus 12 inch to the decent 14.1"...
I am running OS 10.1.5... Does anyone think I will have any issues installing 10.2.8? Any advice would be appreciated.
I was running OS X 10.3.8 on a 266Mhz WallStreet with 384Mb without any problems, The only issue I can think of is whether the Crescendo upgrade will be happy to play with later versions of OS X during the install. I seem to remember reading somewhere that some people might have had to remove the CPU and put the original back in to do the upgrade, however then simply reinstall the upgraded CPU once the install is done and you should be OK.
