If it's hotmail you're after, try Mail with this doodad:

I haven't used it in a while (moved to Entourage for Hotmail), but it was 
very good when I did use it in Mail.app.  I enjoyed OE after [EMAIL PROTECTED] 
support
ended, but it isn't a reason to keep Classic around by itself.
