David, If your iBook only have USB like I suspect, then you won't be able to boot in FireWire target disk mode. If I'm wrong, then you reboot your iBook and then press the 'T' key immediately until you see the FireWire logo on the screen. Then, you just connect both iBook with a FireWire cable. Again, I'm not sure that the 700MHz has FireWire, so what I've just explained might be a moot point... You might have to contact Apple to get Tiger on CDs. I think there is a small fee for that.
