Hi:
If you are using smtpauth.earthlink.net, check Mail> Preferences>
Accounts> and look for the Earthlink account. Click on the server
settings button. Using smtpauth.earthlink.net as your outgoing mail
server will require a password for X Mail to send mail. Make sure
that the password is there and that you have the proper server port ,
which may vary (but may possibly be 587), but I cannot be sure.
If you can, try and chat with an Earthlink support person. I lost
the ability to E-mail and found that there support people were
surprisingly knowledgeable.
