I have a PB G4 400 MHz. I used to get gunk (oil/dirt) transferred from my keyboard to screen. A couple of years ago a wise friend advised me to keep a paper towel over the keyboard when the powerbook is closed. I use one sheet of Bounty Select-a-Size and it's just right. Now my screen stays clean.
