I have a Beige G3 266MHz MT running OS9.1. I have an Iomega Zip 650 CD-ROM
burner connected via USB. I've got Toast 4.0.1.1 installed. I've also
installed iTunes 1.1.

I can't burn CDs. Toast says there's no CD recorder available, check cables,
yadda, yadda. If I insert a CD, with something on it, it will mount to the
desktop. iTunes shows the drive as being the default CD burner. So obviously
it's available.

I recall seeing something about iTunes disabling Toast's ability to burn
CDs. Is this what seems to be happening? Any suggestions as to how I can get
my burner back? I don't plan to burn any music CDs anytime soon. I really
need the burner to make archives, copy stuff etc.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
