Sorry I can not help with your problems except this: maybe your Mac is
confused by you calling a G4 the Yosemite codename! [joke] I have a Blue &
White G3 rev 2 which I have always believed to be named the Yosemite. I
don't know what codename the G4s have.
Suppose now someone will tell me I am wrong.
