I (g3/300 yosemite) and a friend of mine (g/233 beige) had the same
problems with MIE 5.0 -it simply stopped during loading pages. Again
and again. The only thing that worked was to delete the browsers
cache in the options menu or - even better - to give the browser NO
cache ... . Then it worked - slow, but reliable.
I still work with Netscape 4.72 - because it`s the only browser
working with with the internet banking homepage (Java ...) of my
local bank. On the other hand - it doesn`t work to install the
iDisk. So I often start both browsers to surf simultaniously ... .
Only my 2cents.
