OK you have a G4 500 that came with OS 9.01 on it.
What OS is on the CD (do a get info in the System Folder on the Finder and/or the
System file and see if there's an enabler in the System Folder such as 'PowerPC
Enabler 9.0.4).
What does the label say on the CD: f.e. PowerMac G4 Install CD and what color is
it?
