Sure have read a lot about bad ram, especially in older machines. What
should someone do to be reasonably sure of getting decent ram? Pay a few
bucks more and buy from someone reputable? Does Disk Warrior or TechTool Pro
or whatever do a good test on ram? Sounds kinda scary, because the ram will
not be consistent when it messes up, and that makes it very hard to
diagnose. It seems to me that bargain ram is no bargain at all.
