Once in a while you actually read the "read me" but usually after an
installation :) I just happen to read for installing OS 9.1 (not
upgrading) that it says "Before installing Mac OS 9.1, do these
tasks: If you are upgrading from Mac OS 8.5 or earlier, you cannot
perform the installation unless you start up from Mac OS 8.5 or
later." Does this mean you could not install OS 9.1 on a new hard
drive? Of course, I am talking about having an OS 9.1 installation
CD. I already have 9.1 installed but with Mac OS 9 installation CD
and upgrading to OS 9.1. But with this OS 9.1 installation CD, I was
just curious what this meant?
