He is probably suggesting that because @home.com subscribers are missing out
on posts and keep getting bumped forcing him to manually resubscribe you. It
would be a temporary solution allowing @home.com subscribers to get all the
posts (via this free/temporary address).
I doubt he is suggesting that you ditch the @home.com address for good. Just
use the new address for subscribing only until the problem blows over.
I had to do this when @mac.com crapped out for a day not too long ago. It
took all of a minute or two to subscribe then unsubscribe the next day via
an alternative address.
