If you know "caveat emptor", buyer beware, just pronounce it the latin (hard
c is the only way I know it) way and stick an s on the end. The way *I*
pronounce it is: ca-lender, v-ery, w-eigh (or w-ay or ) = e, at = at, and s
as per any plural form short sound for s.
ca-v-eigh-ats, or as per the OED:
caveat kei.vi,t (funny symbol (depending on your mailer) is
the ae symbol (what's its name?)), sb, L. caveat let him beware, 3rd sing.
pres. subj. of cavere to beware.
