I've seen this before...
Try disconnecting your adb keyboard and plugging back in the USB one.
This takes care of the problem in the 10% of the cases I've seen. OS X
just doesn't seem to like it when adb keyboards are plugged in during
install.
On the other hand, I've also seen this problem on OS X CDs that were
duplicated under Mac OS 9. This was probably the other 85%.
One or the other should fix you... unless you're in the 5% with messed
up CDs... ;)
