Sorry. That should have read..."Apple Garamond Official." There's a
difference

The official disk which is intended for use internally within Apple and by
Apple's contractors, including its ad agencies, has these fonts ...

1) AppleGaramond (screen font suitcase for Apple Garamond),

2) AppleGarLig (Apple Garamond Light, Type 1 Outline),

3) AppleGarLigIta (Apple Garamond Light Italic, Type 1 Outline),

4) AppleGarBoo (Apple Garamond Book, Type 1 Outline),

5) AppleGarBooIta (Apple Garamond Book Italic, Type 1 Outline),

6) AppleGarBol (Apple Garamond Bold, Type 1 Outline),

7) AppleGarBolIta (Apple Garamond Bold Italic, Type 1 Outline).

These are slightly condensed versions of Garamond, and were made under
contract to Apple by Bitstream, not by Adobe, Linotype-Hell or Monotype.

Perhaps Apple has had their fonts redone for use by the customer.

The imagesetters used to set manuals and advertisements use Type 1 fonts, not
other formats.
