The most I've heard from people using them is that the smaller it is, the
more you pay. I have a friend who has a jukebox (made by rio I think) which
is essentially a notebook harddrive with a case that he loves.

If you can, hold off for a few days, as apple has a press conference
scheduled on Monday I believe to introduce a new device that deals with
music... Could be a cool thing. :)

Itunes is fantastic for MP3's... The only things some people complain about
are the lack of an equalizer. Itunes does work for some mp3 players, via
device plugins. It is worth checking out whether or not your the player you
want has an itunes plugin, or whether or not someone has hacked one :)
