Just wanted to ask for feedback re. MP3 players with USB connection and on MP3 recording programs.
I found a Hip Zip from Iomega at a good price (comes with 2 40MB cartridges and USB connection), costs $90, which is a LOT less than any other players I've found (e.g., the RIO 600 w/32MB memory costs $150; and I remember seeing the Hip Zip a while back at about $150, too). I found some reviews online which were pretty positive (4 stars), the two negative points being its price and its "low" memory, ie. only 40MB. As a player they said it was excellent. So the deal I found would seem to negate the two negatives. Anyone using one? Other recommendations? What about software? Is the free Sound Jam any good? What about iTunes (or is that only for CDRW)? I'd be ripping songs from my own CD's. Any help much appreciated. Chris H -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
