Thanks for all the tips & help. I should have mentioned that the purpose of this exercise is to dump the contents of my hard drive onto my friends Win98 PC, in which he has an HP CD writer, and write it all onto CD-Rs. That way I can erase my drive & start fresh with OSX (10.1).
I'll try the MacDrive2000 demo (http://www.media4.com/downloads/default.asp) and if that doesn't work, I'll try the Dave demo (thanks Justin) (http://www.thursby.com/products/dave.html).
