I just software serviced a graphic artist's Beige g3 233mhz OS 8.5 with a sony multiscan 17" monitor. It only shows ONE resolution, 1152x870!!!! He is happy with that but I'd like to show him 1024x768 and 800x600. Checked control panel & control strip & calibrated the monitor which has the usual monitor choices, but still, only 1152x870 and that at millions of colors. It's the only option under the recco button, too. I haven't seen this before, why only one rez?
