I think there is something propriety involved in Apple power keys. I could 
be wrong. I think it is also said that you can't plug an original G4 k/b 
into a hub and expect the power key to work. This would mean it has a 
propriety element that is not passed hub to hub. Maybe the fac that new 
Apple k/bs are not equipped with power buttons was a cost saver??
